More and more couples are incorporating love stories or short films into their wedding programs, and premiere them during the wedding reception. Most people see a love story as a romantic short film, others see it as a video-photo montage of photos from childhood to the dating days and engagement. A video-photo montage may be interesting and relevant, but it usually lacks the cohesiveness compared to a love story; from how the couple met, leading up to the wedding proposal.
One of the misconceptions that couples usually have about the love story is that it has to be a romantic film. Well, we can tell you that it does not have to be that way anymore. There are different ways to tell a story of love, and not necessarily in a “cheesy way”. So far, the majority of the couples that we have worked with always wanted to be unique, and wanted their short film to be “something that nobody ever had before”. This is how we came up with an idea of a mini short film that could be comedic, action-adventure or even a thriller… You become real actors!
So you might ask, “how does Visualaz come up with the script for the films?” Visualaz has a team of very creative people with wild imaginations. All you have to do is tell us the style of the love story, how you have met, and we will come up with the script, costumes, and setting. In other words, everything that you need to to have a real movie.
You might think, “well I’m a pretty bad actor…” You are not the first one! We have worked with people that were the worst actors, but we made them look like Hollywood stars. Our philosophy is to try to involve as many of your friends and family members as possible in the shooting of the film, but no one (except for the couple) can know the script. This makes it extra special at the premiere. Most of our movie premieres had standing ovations, as people usually never expect to see a real fully scripted film at the wedding.
Your love story does not have to be the same as everyone else’s any more!
